Through image analysis, it determines if the truck is a bobtail, has a bare chassis, or carries a container. Intelligent Camera automatically positions the camera and captures equipment numbers to feed the OCR engine. The Intelligent Camera system reports accuracy rates as a percentage of throughput of up to 94 percent, depending on how the system is deployed and integrated into the TOS.
Intelligent Camera eliminates clerks’ need to manually adjust cameras in order to read equipment identification numbers. With Intelligent Camera, the correct camera is automatically positioned and properly focused on the equipment number when a clerk selects a lane.
